Changing your username or email
A new username takes effect immediately; a new email after confirmation.

Both are changed under My account → Profile → Change. The change requires that you have confirmed your identity within the last 10 minutes; if needed, your password is asked again.
Username #
The new username works immediately, and the old one becomes available to others. Usernames may contain letters, numbers, dots, dashes and underscores.
Email address #
- Enter the new address and choose Send confirmation link.
- Open the link sent to the new address (valid for 24 hours) and confirm.
The address changes only after confirmation. The old address is notified of both the request and the change. If you didn't make the change, change your password immediately and contact [email protected].
In services #
Services receive your new details the next time you sign in to them.
