Ways to sign in
A password, a passkey or a sign-in code sent by email.

There are three ways to sign in to your Merisaukko ID. Start by entering your username or email.
Password #
The usual way. Passwords must be at least 10 characters. If two-step verification is on, the second step is asked next.
Passkey #
Sign in with a passkey signs you in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN, without a password. A passkey is the safest option: it can't be phished or guessed. Set one up as described in Two-step verification and passkeys.
Email code #
Sign in with an email code sends a six-digit code to your account's email address. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
Too many attempts #
After 10 wrong passwords, the account is locked for 15 minutes. Wait and try again, or reset your password.
