Deleting data and privacy

You can delete your data from one service or delete your whole Merisaukko account. Either request can be cancelled for 14 days, and the deletion is done at the latest 30 days after the request. You get confirmations by email.

Data in one service #

1. Open your Merisaukko ID's front page (Services).
2. On the service's card, choose Delete my data from this service.

The service handles the request under its own rules. In Ohjuri, for example, domain ownership must be transferred first; see Deleting your Ohjuri account. The status shows on the card, and you can cancel with Cancel deletion request.

The whole Merisaukko ID #

1. Open My account → Delete account.
2. Choose Request account deletion.

The request is sent to every service you have used. Your Merisaukko ID is deleted once the services have deleted their data. Activity log entries are kept for two years without personal data (no IP address, browser details or extra details).
