Deleting your Ohjuri account
The deletion request, the 14-day cancellation period and what happens to your data.

You can request deletion of your Ohjuri account and the data stored in Ohjuri in two ways:
- In Ohjuri: My account → Privacy → Request account deletion…
- With your Merisaukko ID: on the Services page, choose Delete my data from this service on the Ohjuri card. The request is handled in exactly the same way.
The request only concerns Ohjuri. Your Merisaukko ID stays; deleting it is explained in Deleting data and privacy.
Before you request #
If you are a domain's owner and the domain has other members, transfer ownership to another member first. Domains where you are the only member are deleted with your account.
What happens next #
- You get a confirmation by email.
- 14-day cancellation period: you can cancel the request in the same place, and the account stays active.
- After the cancellation period, the account and its data are deleted, at the latest 30 days after the request.
- You are notified when the deletion is done.
Your changes stay in the domains without your name, so other members' data remains intact.
