Getting started with Ohjuri
Signing in, your first domain and the basic idea of Ohjuri.
Updated 5 November 2026
Ohjuri keeps track of your home's belongings, stock, tasks, shopping and finances. All data belongs to a domain, such as your home or summer cottage. You can belong to several domains and switch between them in the sidebar.

Signing in #
You sign in to Ohjuri with your Merisaukko ID: choose Sign in with Merisaukko ID on the sign-in page. The same account works for every Merisaukko service. Read more: Merisaukko ID.
Your first domain #
The first time you sign in, choose one:
- Create your own domain. The guided setup asks for a name (e.g. Home), picks apps and user groups, and lets you invite members right away. You become the domain's owner.
- Join another domain. Tell the domain's administrator your username. The invitation appears on Ohjuri's start page and under Domains, where you accept it.
The menu #
The sidebar has Dashboard, Scan and Print, the stock pages (Items, Inventory, Locations, Suppliers) and the domain's installed apps such as Tasks, Calendar, Shopping list and Finance. Domain settings, the Activity log and the Trash are at the bottom of the menu.
You only see the pages you have permission for in the domain.
Tip: open the command search with Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on a Mac) or by pressing /.
Install as an app #
You can install Ohjuri on your phone or computer from the menu item Install app. Installed, it opens in its own window and can show notifications.
