Suppliers and prices
Shops, price observations and price history per item.

Suppliers are the shops and wholesalers whose prices you follow, such as your local supermarket.
Recording prices #
Prices are recorded as price observations:
- from the Prices card on an item's page (you can add a supplier there)
- when adding to inventory with a purchase price and place
- when recording bought items from the shopping list
What the prices show #
- On the item page: price history per supplier and the average price.
- On the supplier page: the latest price of each item.
- On the shopping list: an estimate and the cheapest place to buy.
Deleting a supplier moves it to the trash; the price history is kept.
