Notifications and emails
The notification centre, push notifications, email rules and security notifications.
Updated 6 November 2026
Notification centre #
All notifications are collected behind the bell in the top bar and on the Notifications page: chat, tasks, inventory, finance, your account and domains. Notifications are kept for 90 days.
Settings are under My account → Notifications. Chat, task and account notifications always arrive; status summaries (expiring items, low stock, upcoming bills and loan payments) can be chosen per domain.
Push notifications #
A push notification reaches your phone or computer right away, even when Ohjuri isn't open. Choose Enable on this device and allow notifications in the browser. Send a test notification checks that it works.
- iPhone and iPad: notifications work once Ohjuri has been added to the Home Screen. Open the app from the icon and enable notifications.
- If you have blocked notifications, allow them in the browser's site settings and reload the page.
Email rules #
Email rules decide when you get email and from which domain:
- Time of day: a summary every day, weekly or monthly
- Event: when something happens; events are combined into one message
- Due date: when a due date approaches; each thing once
You are not emailed about your own changes. A rule can have Quiet hours. Without rules you get no emails, except security notifications.
Security notifications #
Security notifications always go to your verified address, for example when someone signs in from a new device.
