Finance overview

Overview #

The month's income, expenses and difference, budget use, expenses and income by category, unpaid bills, account balances and loans. The bar chart shows 12 months; tap a bar to pick a month.

Income and expenses #

Record an expense, income or a bill (unpaid, with a due date). Filter by month, category, payment method or account; Unpaid shows open bills. Mark a bill paid from the overview or the transaction.

Categories and budgets #

Categories and budgets contains:

  • expense and income categories; expense categories can have a monthly budget
  • Recurring income and expenses (e.g. rent, salary) recorded every month on a chosen day, optionally as an unpaid bill
  • Rules for categorising statements
  • Payment methods and accounts

Importing a bank statement #

Import statement reads your bank's transactions from a CSV file. Check the rows and categories before importing; already imported rows are recognised and the file isn't stored. Categorisation rules set the category or skip a row (e.g. transfers between your own accounts). You can create a rule from a row.

Loans #

Loans tracks your own loans (e.g. mortgage or car loan) and money you have lent to others: payments, remaining principal and the repayment plan, which you can print.
